Everybody knows their own sun sign ( commonly known

When an astrologer casts a horoscope, he or she draws up a map of the heavens for a particular place and time. The positions of the various planets, the signs of the zodiac in which they are at that particular time and the distances they are from each other all are crucial to the interpretation of the chart.
No two horoscopes are ever alike. Because of the rotation of the earth and the constant movement of the planets through the signs of the zodiac, even people born within seconds of each other have their own unique chart.
Some individuals take on the dominant traits of their sun sign, some take on the traits of their moon sign and others take on various traits of all the signs prominent in their chart. |

An astrologer is able to look at a person's birth chart and interpret the meaning of the various planets for that particular chart. It is also possible to erect a chart for a particular point in time in the future based on the original birth ( 'natal' ) chart thus enabling the astrologer to look at likely future trends. |
